Globeskool
Our origin

Built by a parent who couldn't find it, so she built it.

Globeskool started with a frustration any parent will recognize. Lynn Michiels, a web developer and a mother of four, wanted two things for her own children that no single product took seriously at once: the core subjects school already covers, done properly and at each child's own pace, and the skills school keeps leaving to chance.

Thinking clearly. Solving real problems. Communicating. Creating. Working with technology with judgment instead of fear. The tutoring apps drilled facts. The screen-time products optimized for engagement, not learning. Nothing treated a child as one person, with one pace, learning by building real things.

One child at a time. Real projects, not just right answers.

So she built it herself. Three of Lynn's four children are right in the 8 to 16 years Globeskool is made for, and she was not willing to wait for school to catch up with the world they are growing into. As a developer, she could do more than worry. She could build the thing she wanted for them. Globeskool is an online school for children aged 8 to 16. Two ideas sit underneath it. One child at a time: it adapts to the single child in front of it, not the average of a class of thirty. And real projects, not just right answers, because the skills that matter only show up when there is something real at stake.

Globeskool is a US company, OmniNomadLLC, built and run by a small, hands-on team rather than a committee chasing venture optics. It is a family project at heart: Lynn has raised her four children while living and working around the world, and she is building the school she wishes those years had come with. We keep the platform clean of the things that should never have been there: no ads to your child, no ranking them against other kids, no selling their data. What is live today is the free Future Skills Test: about ten minutes, and a personal report on where your child stands. The school itself opens soon.

Built for my own four. Now for yours.
