Inside Globeskool

This is the actual product.

Not a mockup. Your child's Becoming Console: their character in the core, this week's work, the five studios, and the next mission ready to go.

The Globeskool Becoming Console, a child's Learning Home: their character in the core showing stage and skill progress, the day's mission, a Learning Twin note, and console keys for Future Skills, Classic Subjects, Missions, the five studios, Character and Portfolio.
Why Globeskool

Four choices school doesn't make.

01

Ten future skills.

The skills the next decade actually rewards, woven into every mission. See all ten →

02

Output, not score.

Your child builds a portfolio of real work. Not a streak count.

03

Safe by design.

Built to COPPA, the US law protecting kids' data online. No ads to your child. Parental controls in every account.

04

Built by a parent.

Globeskool is built by Lynn Michiels, a developer and mother of four, for her own kids. Not for venture optics.

The payoff

A finished mission is real work.

No points for streaks. Your child finishes something real, and it counts toward who they're becoming.

A completed Globeskool mission, Write a Short Story: the celebration screen with confetti, plus 100 XP earned toward Creativity and Communication, and the next mission already queued.
The problem

Most apps teach kids to consume. Globeskool teaches them to direct.

The algorithm feeds your child passive content for hours a day. If that worries you, you are reading it right.

The answer is not less technology. It is a different relationship with it: your child directing the tools, building real work, thinking clearly. Alongside the core subjects they still need.

The platform

Globeskool is built differently.

01

AI in their hands, not at their throat.

Most apps talk at your child. Here, they describe the game they imagine, the AI builds a playable first version, and they direct the changes until it is theirs. Commanding the tools is the literacy this decade demands.

02

A portfolio they can show. Not a percentile.

Every mission ends in an artifact: a story, a finding, a design. By month twelve they have a body of work to show. Not a ranking. A portfolio.

03

Math, language, science. Yes, still.

The core subjects, woven into the projects they are already pulled into. Not a separate worksheet grind. One place, built around how they learn.

04

A character that grows because they do.

Your child picks an archetype, their learning personality: Builder, Storyteller, Investigator, Founder or Navigator. It grows because they grow, not because they logged in. Meet all five →

  • Builder
  • Storyteller
  • Investigator
  • Founder
  • Navigator
05

A Learning Twin that actually knows them.

Their Learning Twin writes a fresh, plain-language read of how they learn: strengths first, never child versus child. It helps pick the next mission, and writes you your own calm note.

06

Short sessions. More to show for them.

School spreads learning across hours of worksheets and waiting. A Globeskool session is short, built around your child, and aimed at one thing: real output.

Five studios

Five studios. Every one open.

Stories, mysteries, levels, pitches, games: your child is the author in all five. The AI coach offers one suggestion on the side, and never touches their work.

The Story Studio bench in Globeskool: a child names their build, picks a world, writes the choices in scene one, and a live story tree counts the real paths through their tale.
STORY STUDIOBranch a tale where every choice is a real path.
The Detective Bureau bench in Globeskool: a child builds a mystery with clues and red herrings while the case board reads the balance between findable and obvious.
DETECTIVE BUREAUOne findable truth, hidden between clever red herrings.
The Level Foundry bench in Globeskool: a child tunes real level dials for speed, obstacles and star patterns, then runs the runner level they forged.
LEVEL FOUNDRYTurn the dials, then run the level you forged.
The Pitch Arena bench in Globeskool: a child names their pitch, tells the studio their idea, and the room meter tracks how many customer objections they have answered.
PITCH ARENAName the doubts out loud, then win the room.
The Game Studio dream bench in Globeskool: a child describes the game they imagine, picks how hard it should be, and the studio builds a playable version they direct.
GAME STUDIODream a game, and direct the AI that builds it.
On any screen

The whole console, pocket sized.

The same console on a phone or tablet: one calm menu, no feed to fall into. Calm Mode anywhere, straight from the browser, no app store.

The Globeskool Becoming Console on a phone: a calm topbar with the Globeskool logo and one menu button, the child's character in the console core, and their becoming, skill and ready-to-go progress bars.
CONSOLEToday's mission, one tap away.
The Globeskool mobile menu opened over the console: language, calm mode, sound, refresh, the child picker and logout as calm full-width controls.
MENUEverything else behind one calm button.
The Observatory

You're never in the dark.

Your child gets the adventure. You get The Observatory: a calm weekly read, a skill radar, honest time estimates, and their Learning Twin's note on what to gently nudge. No streaks, no guilt.

The Globeskool Observatory, the guardian dashboard: a weekly overview of missions completed, a skill radar comparing now with a month ago, an honest learning-time estimate, conversation starters, and the Learning Twin's read on the child.

Questions parents ask

The honest answers.

What ages is Globeskool for, and does my child end up with anything real?

Globeskool is built for kids 8 to 16. Your child builds a portfolio of real work they can show: a branching story they wrote, a playable game level they tuned, a mystery someone else can crack. Over time it becomes a body of work, not a ranking and not a streak count.

Is it safe, and what happens to my child's data?

Globeskool is built to COPPA standards, with parental controls in every account. There are no ads to your child ever, no selling or sharing of their data, and no ranking against other kids. You can delete the record anytime.

Does this replace school, or does it run alongside it?

Globeskool is built to stand on its own as an online school, with core subjects covered at your child's own pace. Most families run it alongside school for the future skills school leaves to chance: critical thinking, problem solving, communication, creativity, AI literacy, and more. How far you take it is your call.

Is this just more screen time?

A lot of screen time is built to keep kids scrolling. Globeskool is built to turn screen time into real output instead. There are no streaks, no engagement traps, and no dark patterns. The goal is that your child finishes something real and logs off.

Is the AI a chatbot that talks to my child?

No. Your child does the work and the AI stays in the coach's seat. It hints without giving away answers, offers one take-it-or-leave-it suggestion in the studios, and writes a calm progress note you can read too. Never a companion, never a friend, and never a replacement for their own thinking.

What does it cost, and can I actually cancel?

When we open it is $1 for the first 7 days, then $59 per child each month, and $35 each from the third child. You can cancel in one click, with no retention sequence and no upsell. The free Future Skills Test and report are yours either way.

Is it open yet, and what is the free Future Skills Test exactly?

The school is coming soon and purchases are on hold for now. What is live right now and free is the Future Skills Test: about ten minutes of honest questions, and it emails you a personal report on where your child stands. It is yours to keep regardless. Leave your email and you hear the day we open, in the order you joined.
